“Action – the physical effort of the soul – is a major component of my work, characterized by motion. I employ genderless, naturalistic figures to emphasize the embodiment of the soul.”
Bio
Throughout her career, Tolla has developed a unique artistic style influenced by her studies in psychology, sociology, and modern art at Tel Aviv University. Initially working in ceramics and sculpture, her art evolved from realistic figurative forms to expressive, semi-abstract bronze castings. Inbar’s sculptures explore universal themes of life, the soul, and the universe’s complexity, often depicting figures climbing stairs, ladders, or ropes as metaphors for spiritual growth and ambition. Since 1995, she has combined wood, metal, glass, and bronze in her works, which are collected by private and corporate patrons worldwide.
