“My paintings convey a tranquil, joyful mood, reflecting my deep love for life. I strive to make the viewer feel the color of the sky, the temperature of the air, and the breeze moving through the apple trees or wheat stalks.”

Bio

Samir Sammoun was shaped by the vibrant landscape of poppy fields and olive groves of his homeland. His emotional connection to nature ignited his passion for painting at age 13. Working primarily in oil on jute or linen, he builds color through layered brushstrokes—30+ tones blended side-to-side—to create richly textured, luminous compositions. He exhibits internationally, including frequent solo shows at Galerie d’Orsay, and his bold, iridescent landscapes are held in major public and private collections across North America and the Middle East.
