Conversations are happening through signage in urban settings all the time. “No Parking,” “One Way,” “No Skating” — these are all part of a conversation one replies to verbally and mentally. The tagged ”No Skating” sign is my reply to one of these ubiquitous conversations.
15 is my favorite number. I remember winning a church raffle as a kid with that number once or twice. Often, when things are going my way, I’ll see the number 15 all around me — on a speed limit, a building number, a license plate, etc.
