“I try to make the person looking at my painting feel the color of the sky, the temperature of the air, and the breeze in the apple trees or the wheat stalks.”

– Samir Sammoun

Galerie d’Orsay presents our Virtual Collectors' Reception & Artist Talk with artist Samir Sammoun for his solo show CONTEMPORARY IMPRESSIONS, currently on view at 33 Newbury St!

A great colorist by nature, Samir Sammoun possesses a rich palette that features more than 30 shades and tones, providing the chromatic foundation for his richly textured and active brushwork.

Sammoun's exquisite artwork is included in numerous public and private international collections such as the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts and the Marc-Aurèle Fortin Museum, Montréal, Québec; the Latino Art Museum, Pomona, CA; the Plattsburgh Art Museum, Plattsburgh, NY; the Champlain Museum, Lake Champlain, NY, among many others.

We've recorded our inspiring talk with Sammoun for those unable to attend our live event below:
