We had a splendid Collector’s Reception celebrating Bruno Zupan’s Retrospective last Saturday. Thank you to all our esteemed collectors who joined Bruno and Jane Zupan and all of us at Galerie d’Orsay for this beautiful evening of art, celebration, and discussion!
This show is our 19th annual exhibition honoring world-renowned artist Bruno Zupan, and this is a particularly exciting event as it celebrates his 80th birthday. For this show, Galerie d’Orsay is juxtaposing wonderful new paintings with select pieces from Bruno’s personal collection which he has allowed us to offer to our collectors! So many of our community joined us as we celebrated this incredible milestone with birthday gifts, champagne, speeches, and an exciting announcement!
Bruno Zupan’s unique blend of traditional, Impressionist brushwork, and contemporary spatter painting have firmly established his place in art history. Zupan has traveled the world in the pursuit of light; from the sun reflecting off the Mediterranean to the sparkling city lights of Boston, he captures the varied yet simple manifestations of its beauty.
Bruno’s artworks are included in numerous prestigious private and public international collections and have been honored in museums worldwide, including The Museo de Mallorca, Columbus Museum of Art, and Boston’s own Museum of Fine Arts.
