Galerie d'Orsay is pleased to provide our continued support for the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum - home to one of Rembrandt's most
important works, Self Portrait (1629). As we celebrate the 400th anniversary of the birth of the artistic genius Rembrandt Van Rijn, the gallery
will renew its charitable partnership with the museum. Coinciding with our featured exhibition of Rembrandt's masterful etchings,
Galerie d'Orsay will host a silent auction of the etching, Self Portrait, Drawing at a Window. The work is a strong example of Rembrandt's
unparalleled creative ability that would revolutionize the medium of etching.
All proceeds from the auction will be donated in support of the important efforts to keep alive Isabella Gardner's love and
commitment to the Arts. Bids will be taken via phone or in person beginning February 4th with final bids accepted no later than
March 2nd.
